Spectrum Estates A Whopping Success

Three Neighborhoods Sell Out in Half the Expected Time

Gilbert, AZ — Element Homes’ Gilbert community, Spectrum Estates, has sold out in less than ten short months, half the time the builder had expected. The community is comprised of three neighborhoods: Arboretum, Vineyards and Esplanade. “This community benefited not only from great home designs, but a superb location that placed it in the midst of exciting growth,” said Susan Williams, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Element Homes.

Spectrum Estates, located near Val Vista and Germann Roads, features a host of community amenities such a trail system, playgrounds with colorful equipment, picnic ramadas, basketball half-court, bike racks. Those amenities, coupled with the tree-lined streets, create a true sense of community where neighbors know one another.

Arboretum
The 133 homes at Arboretum are all sold and construction on the last home should be completed this fall. The homes ranged in size from 1,871 to 3,500 square feet and featured three, four and five bedroom plans.

“There is so much happening in this area including a new upscale shopping area, a new hospital, new high school, new elementary school and convenient freeway access. Those neighborhood additions generated a lot of excitement among our buyers,” said Stephan Larson, Element Homes community manager at Arboretum.

Vineyard
One hundred and fourteen new families are now calling the Vineyard neighborhood “home.” The plans there ranged in size from 2,320 to 3,546 square feet with up to four car garages. The homes included a high level of standard features such as Corian countertops, Kohler cast iron kitchen sinks, maple cabinets and low E windows. “The level of included features of our homes is much higher than the homes of our competitors’,” said John Capriotto, Element Homes community manager. “The featurization is very meaningful to today’s buyers,” he said.

Esplanade
“Our home site sizes were a huge hit with our buyers,” said Kelli Blagen, Element Homes community manager. The Esplanade neighborhood featured quarter-acre home sites as standard and offered the largest and most highly featured homes. Granite counters were standard, along with cozy gas fireplaces and rich maple cabinetry. The spacious home designs offered flex space, allowing up to seven bedrooms in one of the plans.

Element Homes is busy planning its next communities around the greater Phoenix area. Watch for information on Marley Park in Surprise, Skyline Ranch in Pinal County and Sonoran Mountain Ranch in Peoria, all of which are coming in 2005.
