Peoria, Ariz. (May 18, 2006) — The public is invited to the Sonoran Mountain Ranch park dedication ceremony, Saturday, June 3 with a morning full of free, fun-filled activities. The community developer, ElementHomes, has donated the park, the first of two, to the City of Peoria. The festivities will run from 7 a.m. to noon and are jointly sponsored by the City of Peoria and ElementHomes.

Over the past 13 years COLD SHOTT and THE HURRICANE HORNS have worked to become a powerful mainstay in the Arizona R&B, Blues and Soul circuits. The band has many veteran Arizona musicians who have played professionally for up to 30+ years, not only in Arizona but all across the United States! Free watermelon and beverages, face painter, magician, balloon artist, disc golf, fire truck display. Plus, ride the trolley to the various model home centers. From 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. the Arizona Game and Fish Department’s Wildlife Center at Adobe Mountain will have several desert animals at the event, and provide safety and interpretive information about interacting with snakes, birds of prey and tortoises.

Sonoran Mountain Ranch is located on 67th Avenue, 3 miles north of Happy Valley. The road will dead-end at the community. Follow the signs to the new neighborhood park. Additional information is available at www.sonoranmountain.com, including maps and community details.
